Swanzey
Swanzey, NH
Site Highlights
Returning to an original site, with over 125 acres of lakefront trails and so much more to explore along ridges, hills, and mountains (Mt. Caesar or Monadnock) of New Hampshire; Swanzey offers a variety of trails for all types of explorers!
Groups can take the washout trail from the 2023 flooding to see and feel the impact of local erosion in our environments. Lessons can also extend into destruction and successional regrowth in our forests and the interrelated impacts on pond, swamp, and vernal pool ecosystems.
In addition to our many trails, field groups can also make use of our low ropes challenge course. For improved communications and a deeper focus on SEL, here students practice working cooperatively as a team while attempting to complete a series of initiatives.
