Nature's Classroom at Sargent Center,
Hancock, New Hampshire...
... brings science to life. Exploration, inquiry, and discovery are all part of our field investigations. Building community begins with our unique setting and facilities. Nature's Classroom's expert instructors are here to guide the way. Living and learning at Sargent Center helps students gain a powerful sense of connection with each other while discovering they can make a difference in the world.
Our 700 acres of forest, pond, meadow, river, and bog communities are a living laboratory where students and teachers discover the wonders of ecology and geology that simply can’t be found in books.
Our school program guests stay in comfortable, winterized accommodations with modern bathrooms. Students have adult supervision at all times.
The food service professionals in our dining hall serve three delicious meals and an afternoon fruit snack daily. Along with a nutritious main course, meals feature bread, fruit, vegetables, as well as salad bar and soup of the day. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available.
We look forward to welcoming you and your school!
