A Nature's Classroom Summer Camp Experience

 

For campers who live in the local area we offer a day camp program similar to the residential program. Our day camp is Monday through Friday and the fee is $240 per week. The day program will allow you to drop your child off between 8:30 and 8:45 A.M. for a fun-filled day of activities. Children need to bring their own lunch with them.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE

  1:00 - 2:00   ................ Recreational Time
  2:00 - 4:30   ................ Discovery Activities
  4:30 - 5:00   ................ Pick Up*

*Early arrival/departure can be arranged on an individual basis.

Recreational Time may include arts and crafts, hiking, swimming, sports or time to simply chat with friends.

CORE CHOICES

Natural Science: The entire natural world is waiting to be discovered - forests, ponds & streams. Explore the mysteries of our planet.

Physical Science: Enter an amazing adventure of discovery! Find out how things work and why. Launch rockets, use lasers and experiment with chemicals.

Fine Arts: Explore your artistic potential with individualized instruction in the world of fine arts. Draw, paint and discover new avenues of artistic expression.

Performing Arts: Perform plays and musicals with Life-Tech Ventures and/or learn about designing and building sets, lighting, props, costumes and make-up. To be in a production your child must attend the week(s) prior to performance night.

This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (CMR 430) and be licensed by the Charlton Board of Health. Information on these regulations can be obtained at (617) 983-6761.
